in French. Mardi Gras is the final day of Carnival celebrations,
the three day period right before the beginning of Lent, the Sunday,
Monday, and Tuesday right before Ash Wednesday. In New
Orleans, its nothin' but a party party. Whether you live here,
or travel here, Mardi Gras will be an experience you'll never

Orleans with the Catholic French in the late 17th century. We've
been celebrating ever since! Come on down, get some beads and
a big cold daiquri, and spend some time on Bourbon Street in the
French Quarter. Our people and ghosts welcome you! |
